Dirk Staelens

What do I look for in a young player? Outside of their technical ability and speed of action, I look especially at their attitude if they do not have the ball. Off the ball how do they contribute? What is their action when they or their team lost the ball?! Further I look at their running actions without the ball. Are they running just to run or are these lanes to get in a free position and to make space for a team mate?!
